Education Department, New Taipei City Government is hosting “NOW TO FUTURE: 2026 International Forum on NTPC Technical and Vocational Education - AI × Sustainability × Resilience” on Tuesday, December 1, 2026.

We are now opening for proposal submissions (Paper Presentation/ Practical Talks):

 

I. Conference Date and Venue

1. Date: December 1, 2026 (Tuesday)

2. Venue: 507 Conference Room, 5th Floor, New Taipei City Government Building

 

II. Organizers

1. Host: New Taipei City Government Education Department

2. Co-organizer: Department of Industrial Education National Taiwan Normal University, Technological and Vocational Education Research Center.

3. Organizer: New Taipei Municipal New Taipei Industrial Vocational High School.

 

III. Target Submitter

1. Faculty members, researchers, and graduate students (master's and doctoral) from universities and colleges both domestic and international

2. Professional administrators from educational institutions or related organizations, both domestic and international

3. Principals, directors, and teachers from high schools and vocational schools

VI. Guidelines of Paper Presentation Submission

1. Submission Methods

1.1 Authors are required to complete the basic information form online and upload both a Word file and a PDF file of the full paper (including abstracts in Chinese and English) to complete the submission.

1.3 Uploaded files should be named using the format: "Paper Title - Corresponding Author's Name in Chinese" Example: 技職教育創新研究-王大明

2. Abstract and Full Paper Content

2.1 Both the Chinese and English abstracts should be approximately 500 words each. They must address the significance of the paper topic, research objectives, research methods, and findings, and include 3–5 keywords.

2.2 The full paper should be between 8,000 and 12,000 words.

2.3 For formatting guidelines on the abstract and full paper, please refer to the Paper Writing Format.

3. Points to Note

3.1 Duplicate submissions are not permitted. Plagiarism and copyright infringement are strictly prohibited.

3.2 Authors will be notified of the full-paper review results via email.

3.3 Complete papers must be submitted through the online form before the submission deadline.

3.4 Authors whose papers are accepted must complete the registration form and attend in person to deliver an oral presentation and receive a certificate of presentation.

 

VII. Guidelines of Practical Talks Submission

1. Submission Methods

1.1 Authors are required to complete the basic information form online and upload both a PowerPoint (PPT) file and a PDF file of the presentation to complete the submission.

1.3 Uploaded files should be named using the format: "Presentation Title - Corresponding Author's Name in Chinese" Example: 技職教育創新研究-王大明

2. Presentation Content

2.1 Presentations must align with the conference topics. In addition to policy planning, implementation, and effectiveness analyses related to each sub-theme, submissions may also cover topics such as competency-based instruction, industry-academia collaboration, project-based learning, bilingual education, self-directed learning, or competitive skills training in vocational education — including lesson plans, teaching methods, practical case studies, or experience sharing — all of which are welcome in presentation format.

2.2 Presentations should include the following sections: background (origins), objectives (goals), process, outcomes, challenges, and recommendations. The presentation must be exactly 20 slides, including the cover slide and acknowledgments slide.

2.3 Please use Times New Roman fonts in presentation
